bullying excludes. the Gospel includes.

Being a Christian is NOT an excuse to be a bully.

Stop using Christianity and what Jesus did on the cross to be hateful to those different from you.
God truly loves everyone, even the ones you don't.
I will shout these words until the day they bury my body.

Stand up for your gay friends, they are loved by God too.
Stand up for the addict, he is loved by God too.
Stand up for the gossiper, she is loved by God too.
Stand up for the atheist, they are loved by God too.
Stand up for the hypocrite, they are loved by God too.
Stand up for those different from you, they are loved by God too.
Stand up for those who even believe different than you, he/she/them is loved by God too.

God loved you even when no one else did. Even when you weren't so shiny and pretty. Even when you didn't know all the right church lingo. Even when you cussed when you spoke. Even when you frowned upon the church and said it wasn't for you. Even when you.......you name it.

Being a Christian is NOT an excuse to be a bully.

Churches can become a private-members-only clubhouse if we aren't careful.”

LOVE.

Jesus is love.

Jesus is unconditional love.

We love to feel like we are an exclusive part of something. So, naturally, churches can become a private members only clubhouse if we aren't careful. It takes intentional effort to love like Jesus did and be sure to include ALL people. Whether they respond to Christ or not is on them, but that doesn't mean we have any right to exclude, look down on, OR make fun of anyone for not believing the same.

Let's make a collective effort to include all people in our love. God does.
